“Who is he who condemns?”

District Apostle Peter Lambert conducted a divine service in Tafelsig Congregation, Cape Town, on Sunday, 26 April 2026.

The divine service was audio-visually transmitted to congregations across the District Apostle area and served as preparation for the Pentecost divine service scheduled to be conducted by Chief Apostle Jean-Luc Schneider on Sunday, 24 May 2026, in the same venue.

The Apostles and Bishops from Southern Africa accompanied the District Apostle.

The Bible text used as a basis for the divine service was Romans 8:34 (NKJV): 'Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.”

Apostle Gerome Mintoor was called upon to serve.

The choir and orchestra added to the sacred atmosphere with beautiful music, making it a blessed experience for everyone attending and those connected.

Following the divine service, the various teams met to discuss logistics in the lead-up to Pentecost, ensuring that all areas of responsibility are properly covered.

On Sunday, 05 April 2026, Priest Machael Bester conducted the Easter Sunday divine service in Worcester North congregation.

The message was based on the Bible text from John 20:17-18:
"Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God." Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that He had spoken these things to her.
As customary for special festive divine services, a bible reading was done from the book of Mark 16:1-15 giving some background to the bible text.

Message:
The resurrection is central to our faith.
During the divine service, Priest Neville Coetzee was called upon to serve the congregation.

Summary:
■ The resurrection of Jesus Christ confirms His divine Sonship and the gospel.
■ The resurrection is the foundation of our faith.
■ Let us share the joy of the resurrection with our neighbour.
After the conclusion of the service, the Priests greeted all in attendance and an Easter egg hunt was held outside.
