The Israelites struggled to let go of Egypt, even though God was providing manna from heaven (Exodus 16). What was familiar kept them from embracing what was promised.

Often, we do the same—holding onto the old while God is doing something new.

“Commit your way to the Lord; trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass.” — Psalm 37:5

Let go of what was, and trust the God who provides what is to come.
