"Serving with Joy!"

"The Divine Service on the second Sunday of June was conducted in the joy of the Holy Spirit by Priest Gerald Kammies on 14 June 2026."

"The service was based on the Bible text Nehemiah 8:10 (excerpt) NKJV:"

"Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength."

During the service, Priest Levona De Beer was called up to serve along.

This morning's word introduces to us that sadness and joy have always been part of the human experience. As Christians we are called to serve God joyfully.
When we serve let us be aware that we are serving both God and our neighbour. When we serve with enthusiasm, our witness can be inviting.

Message

"We serve in the joy that Christ is near."

The Divine Service concluded with the ministers greeting the congregants.

"Growing spiritually"

The midweek divine service was officiated by the Rector CEV, Glenvor Thomas Snipper on, Wednesday evening 10 June 2026.

The service was based on the Bible text Romans 13:11 (NKJV), which says;

"And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed."

The return of Jesus Christ is certain, God has set the date. Spiritual vigilance keeps us from falling asleep and allows us to grow spiritually. Our spiritual development is reflected in faith, love and hope.

Message:

God's work is moving forward, and so is our spiritual development.

Sunday School Divine Service

The Rector, CEV GT. Snipper officiated the children's divine service on Sunday, 07 June 2026 after morning service

The service was based on the Bible text Jeremiah 29:11, which says;

"For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope."

His thoughts are thoughts of peace. The hope that God gives us strengthen us today and gives us courage in all circumstances.

Message:

God thinks about us and gives us a future and hope.

"Joy over God's election"

Joy in the Holy Spirit

On the first Sunday, 07 June 2026 the morning divine service was conducted by the Rector, CEV Glenvor Thomas Snipper

The service was inspired by the Bible text, Luke 10:20 (NKJV), which states;

"Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven."

The Priest Nelson Mpumlo was called up to serve the congregation.

Message:

Our election by God, which is manifested when we partake in the sacraments, is a true cause for joy.
