"Jesus Christ, the cornerstone"

The midweek divine service was officiated by the District Rector, Priest André Lamprecht on Wednesday evening, 03 June 2026.

The service was based on the Bible text out of Isaiah 28:16 (NKJV), which says;

'Therefore thus says the Lord God:' "Behold, I lay in Zion a stone for a foundation, a tried stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation; whoever believes will not act hastily."

The congregation sang the opening hymn 220- Trust and obey..

As we live in an unstable world, through confusion and distrust, in Christ we have a solid foundation.
His word and love are unchanging. His grace is perfectly effective and His authority is absolute.
Let us trust Him, love and seek His grace.

The message of tonight's words is that Jesus Christ gives us security.

The service concluded with the District Rector together with the ministers greeting those who had time.

Thank you to the young people in Christ for their "youthful takeover" in God's house

"The blessing of the triune God"

The fifth Sunday (Trinity Sunday) of the month, on 31 May 2026 the Rector, CEV Glenvor Thomas Snipper conducted the morning divine service.

The service was based on the Bible text 2 Corinthians 13:14 (NKJV), which says;

"The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all."

During the service the Priest Thandi Isaacs was called up to serve along.

The Trinitarian benediction is a powerful divine promise. The blessing is addressed first and
foremost to us personally. Yet it must also have an impact on those around us.
The blessing of God encourages us to live our lives as true Christians.

Message:
The work and activity of the triune God are expressed in the closing benediction of the divine service.

The service came to conclusion with the ministers greeting the congregants a blessed sunday.

"You are God's temple"

The midweek divine service was conducted by the Priest Gerald Kammies on Wednesday evening, 27 May 2026.

The service was based on the Bible text, 1 Corinthians 3:16, which says;

"Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?"

The congregation sang the opening hymn 77- Christ living in me.

"O what salvation I know with Christ living in me!"

The word this evening contextualizes that God is present in the church through His Spirit, making it a temple of God. The Spirit of God has a unifying, guiding, and healing effect.

Message:
The church is a living community inspired by the Spirit in which the Spirit of God dwells.

The Priest took time to greet the members.
