Wisdom: Not Everything Deserves Your Reaction

An elephant took a bath in a river and was walking on the road. When it neared a bridge, it saw a wild pig, a warthog, fully soaked in mud coming from the opposite direction.

The elephant quietly moves to one side, allowed the dirty pig to pass, and then continued its journey.

The unclean pig later spoke to its friends in arrogance "see how big I'm, even the elephant was afraid of me and moved to one side to let me pass.

On hearing this, some elephants got angry and asked their friends the reason for its action, if it was truly out of fear?

Wisdom: Not Everything Deserves Your Reaction

The elephant smiled and replied, I could have crushed the pig under my leg but I'm too clean and the pig is too dirty, by crushing it with my leg would be dirty and I want to avoid joining the dirty Pig family, hence, I move aside.

Do not throw a stone at every dog that bark, some are born with negativity, avoid having issues with them, avoid contact with negativity not out of fear but out of the desire to keep away from unnecessary drama.

Nebuchadnezzar's game was to reshape their identity and mindset 💡. But here's the thing: their names might've changed, but their character stayed solid like a rock 🗿.

The world and the devil will pull out all the stops to fit us into their mold 😈. But no matter what they say, do, or throw at us, they can't change who we are – "See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are!" (1 John 3:1-2). We're the twice-born kids of the living God 💫. He is still God 🙌.

God Knows And God Decides

There is a deep peace that comes from remembering that God knows everything and God decides what ultimately happens. He knows your thoughts before you speak them, your fears before you admit them, and your future before you can imagine it. Nothing catches Him off guard. While we stress over outcomes and try to control every detail, God is calmly working behind the scenes, aligning circumstances, closing doors, and opening the right ones at the right time. His decisions are not random and they are not careless. They are rooted in love and wisdom far greater than ours. When you trust that God knows and God decides, you can loosen your grip on control and rest in the confidence that your life is not in chaos, it is in His hands.
