🙏🇿🇦 | Government Calls On The Church For Nation-Building

The South African Government has issued a strong call to faith-based organisations to help restore hope, combat social crises, and build resilient communities across the nation.

1. Social Development Minister addressed pastors and faith leaders at a church leaders gathering in Pretoria, on behalf of the Deputy President.
2. The government commended churches for their vital role in SA's democratic transition and their continued daily efforts in running feeding schemes, shelters, and substance-abuse interventions.
3. Minister P**e urged the Church to partner with all sectors of society, as a united front, to tackle poverty, unemployment, gender-based violence, and the erosion of moral values.

PRAY FOR SOUTH AFRICA: Lord, may Your Church be a pillar of peace and moral truth in our nation. Use us to turn souls from violence, and addiction, and to uphold the dignity of every human life. Equip us to build strong communities anchored in Christ. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

It was not about getting hyped up or about forcing Gods hand, but it was about a community coming together and seeking His face, worshipping God, earnestly praying and thanking God for His many blessings in our lives. We prayed for our families, our community, our country and the nations. God is moving🙏🙏

The Amanzimtoti SAPS Spiritual Network recently had the honour of welcoming special guests to the monthly SAPS Prayer Meeting held at Amanzimtoti Police station.

It was a special moment of recognition and farewell to the Forensics Officers who had spent the past six months doing their in-service training at Amanzimtoti Police station.

In attendance for the day's proceedings were Brigadier Maluleke, Regional Head of the Forensics Lab KZN, Colonel Khelawanlall, from the KZN DNA Laboratory, Colonel Mzimela, Amanzimtoti Station Commander, together with station members.

We wish the Officers well in their postings and send them off with prayers for protection, bravery, and integrity that they may serve honourably.

Our team had the wonderful opportunity to spend the morning at Jabulani in Warner Beach to celebrate Women's Day.

Every year we look forward to reconnecting, building new friendships, and encouraging a CULTURE OF CARE.

We were pleased to have Merlene Matthew, Chairperson of the Amanzimtoti Community Police Forum open the program, followed by a word of encouragement by Debbie West, Chairperson of the Amanzimtoti SAPS Spiritual Network, Cst Mcasa from the Amanzimtoti SAPS Social Crime Prevention team together with her fellow members, KZN Department of Community Safety and Liaison spoke on in-person safety matters for pensioners and the resources available to older persons. Estelle van Eeden of Sparrow Trust did a session on digital citizenship and online safety.
