CONFIRMATION CANDIDATES' RETREAT

From 15 - 17 May 2026, 18 Confirmation Candidates had their Retreat at the Good Shepherd- Retreat Centre. Deacon Reddyneelan and Sr. Maria Nguyen accompanied them. It was a fruitful moment of reflection, prayers, renewal their love for God and preparation for their Confirmation in August

On 24 May 2026, the Salesian Family will celebrate the Solemnity of Mary Help of Christians, a title chosen by Don Bosco to invoke Mary’s help in times of difficulty.

BIBLE CAMP

On the 8 - 9 May 2026, 10 children from grade 4 & grade 5 attended the Bible Camp at the Salesian Sisters - Retreat Centre in Benoni. Sr. Isabel Vieira and the Catechists of Our Lady of Fatima parish organized this Camp. It was a beautiful opportunity for fun, friendship and growing in faith through Bible activities, prayer and reflection.
The children enjoyed the Camp very much. We were grateful to Fr. Tony Nunes who came to celebrate the Holy Mass and gave the Reconciliation Sacrament to the children and the Catechists. Many thanks to the Salesian Sisters in Benoni for providing comfortable accommodation, to the parents and to those who contributed food for these days, especially thanks to Sr. Isabel and the Catechists. Annual Retreat April 2026

From 17 - 24 April, the first group of sisters, 12 disciples in Zambia had their Annual Retreat with Fr Chota Tresphord Sdb. It took place at Mornese Spriritual Centre in Lusaka.

ELECTION OF THE NEW LOCAL COUNCIL OF SALESIAN COOPERATORS (SSCC) IN ENNERDALE

On Sunday 22nd February 2026, at the Salesian Sisters in Ennerdale, the Headquater of the AFM Salesian Cooperators Province, the SSCC in Ennerdale had an election of the new local council.
Ms. Imelda - the SSCC Provincial was present. Sr. Giovanna Pesenti, Delegate of the Salesian Family, Provincial and CIAM level guided the SSCC to reflect and share their journey. Followed by the election of the new council.
The outcome of the election was:

Lauren - new Coordinator thanked the outgoing local council for their guidance and leadership over the past term. She also welcomed the new council.
