The believer's realities concerning heaven.

• Our heavenly position: We Seated with Christ in heavenly places.
‭Ephesians 2:6 NKJV‬
[6] and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

• Our names are written in heaven
‭Philippians 3:20 NKJV‬
[20] For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.

• Our Father is in heaven
‭Matthew 5:16 NKJV‬
[16] Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

• Our attention and affection ought to be centred on the things in heaven.
‭Colossians 3:1 NKJV‬
[1] If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God.

Them that are Born of God

● Does not sin.
1 John 3:9
[9]Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.

● Loves others & knows God.
1 John 4:7
[7]Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.

● Believes that Jesus is the Christ.
1 John 5:1
[1]Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves Him who begot also loves him who is begotten of Him.

● Overcones the world.
1 John 5:4
[4]For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.

● Keeps himself & the wicked one does not touch him.
1 John 5:18
[18]We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him.

If we were suffering for ourselves, it would be no privilege, but because we are suffering for and with Christ, it is a high and holy honor. After all, He suffered for us, and a willingness to suffer for Him is the very least we can do to show our love and gratitude.

Seeking God comprises of the following:

- Sincere hearts( Philippians 1:10)
- Renewed minds( Romans 12:2)
- Sacrificial bodies(Romans 12:1)

When our hearts are sincere, we have pure intentions towards God, His people and the things He has given us. When our minds are renewed(transformed by reading, studying, meditating on the Word), our emotion, thought and ego, will ultimately be given unto the Lord.

When we subject our bodies(fleshy desires) to God, we subject ourselves to the Will of God. In doing all of this, we are seeking to know Him, His nature, His heart, His desires, His thoughts.

We seek to be one with Him.

In seeking God with all our hearts, holiness is a requirement. We have to be Holy as He is Holy for us to genuinely find Him.
