Please continue to pray for the Yorkville family who lost two loved ones in a tragic accident this week. We have been told there will be a balloon release today, Friday, September 4th, at 4 p.m. at the park where they live. This will be an opportunity for you to meet and to talk to the family.
Our prayers are for the comfort and peace of the family. We ask all of our community to join us in this prayer.

Losing Danny is so sad for us but I know he is praising God! Just like he did here on earth.There is going to be a meal around 4:30 or so at church. When you decide what you are cooking to bring please post it on this page or the church one. That way we will have somewhat of a plan. Share so folks will know. Thanks.

Open Gym for High School is CANCELLED for tonight!
Bethel Baptist is having their VBS tonight and I did not realize it. We never want to schedule events conflicting with our neighboring church! I apologize for this oversight!

This coming Sunday July 19, in addition to our regular offering we will be taking a special offering for Danny and Sheila Maddox. Danny has stage 4 liver cancer for which the doctors have discontinued treatments. He is currently in Jackson MC Hospital under Comfort Care but will be moved to Dyersburg when a room is available. Please continue to pray Danny and Sheila. We hope to see you on Sunday.

Danny Maddox has been admitted to ICU in Jackson. His condition is worsening and I am asking each of you to pray for him and for Sheila.
