Please consider sending a book to her for Christmas

NJ girl with brain cancer has a wish: Lots of books
4-year-old girl recently diagnosed with brain cancer has a wish while she waits to begin treatment: Send lots of books. "The books transport her to other places - even if she can't go physically."

Just a few weeks ago, Lena Tietjen was playing with her twin brother Clark, running around like every other kid on their Vineland block. But then she came down with what they thought was a typical stomach virus.

Over 130 Kids came by the church tonight to get treats and a Bible for older kids and Bible story books for the younger kids. What a wonderful way to spend an evening.

Got word today that UMCOR - United Methodist Committee On Relief has put out a request for a second round of Flood Buckets. If anyone would like to give towards this contact me or a member of our church.

If you are trying to decide what Disaster Relief Organization to donate to. Please consider UMCOR United Methodist Committee on Relief every dollar donated goes to the disaster relief not administrative cost of running UMCOR. They don't waste money on advertising, they advertise by being on the ground from beginning to end of the disaster not till FEMA or the news trucks leave.

Trimble UMC will be accepting monetary donations to buy items for flood buckets to be sent for the flood recovery. If anyone wants to make a contribution towards this project please do so before Sunday Sept 3rd as we will need to assemble the buckets and deliver them by the 11th. If you want to make a donation you can contact me 731-592-8746.

Good day. Served the teachers of Trimble Elementary lunch and gave school supplies to them also. Thank you to all who helped with these.
