What do you do when a second chance is given to someone you believe doesn't deserve it? In our final sermon in the Jonah series, we find the prophet — fresh from his own rescue in the belly of a fish — sitting outside Ninevah, furious that God has given the city a second chance. At the heart of this strange and tender ending is a God whose compassion refuses to be contained by our expectations — a God who pursues not only the lost city, but the pouting prophet outside its gates. Join us as we wrestle with one of the most uncomfortable questions in Scripture: what do we do when God's compassion turns out to be bigger than our own?
