It's Labor Day weekend, and the doors are open this Sunday. Holy Eucharist is at 8 AM, 10 AM, and 5 PM. Let's give thanks together for the work of our hands. Please note that there is no Children’s Chapel this Sunday and staff offices are closed on Sep 7.

Almighty God, you have so linked our lives one with another that all we do affects, for good or ill, all other lives: So guide us in the work we do, that we may do it not for self alone, but for the common good; and, as we seek a proper return for our own labor, make us mindful of the rightful aspirations of other workers, and arouse our concern for those who are out of work; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Lunch service at the Winston-Salem Street School starts back tomorrow, Wed, Sep 2, from 12:15–1:45 PM.

We provide the meal on the first Wednesday of every month, and we need at least five volunteers each time. It's a good chance to sit with high schoolers, meet the staff, and support a remarkable program.
