The temple was supposed to be God’s house, a place where people encountered Him, prayed, worshiped, and drew near. Jesus finds activity there, but without true worship. What did He do? He cleared the temple.

This past Sunday, August 30, Pastor John shared about Jesus confronting empty religion. The religious leaders of the time had the temple, but they were rejecting the lord of the temple. Jesus is not impressed by their appearance or tradition. He goes straight to the heart.

When Jesus looks at the house of your life, does He see a place that merely looks religious, or a place where He actually lives? Give the house of your life to Jesus! May your life be the place where Christ truly dwells.

SAVE the date for these Cowboy Church events coming up in less than a month!

Saturday, September 26 at 6 pm head to the covered horse arena behind Yesteryear Farms for a movie night. We will be watching "Surfers & Cowboys." Snacks provided. There will also be a special Q&A time with Bryan Jennings, Founder & Director of Movies On A Mission. Enjoy a nice evening under the covered horse arena.

Come back on Sunday, September 27 at 10 am for Cowboy Church. Hear Bryan Jennings speak and listen to amazing worship music. There will be a baptism opportunity at the end of the worship service. Stay after and enjoy brunch.

Both events are free, but offering on Sunday will go toward Adult & Teen Challenge, a local organization transforming lives. Adult & Teen Challenge PacWest

Jesus enters Jerusalem on Palm Sunday in a different way. There’s a crowd, but there’s no royal chariot. There’s no sword raised in the air like a mighty conquering general. Instead, Jesus rides in a c**t. Jesus often doesn’t look like the king you would expect, but He is exactly the king you need.

This past Sunday, August 23 Pastor John shared a Palm Sunday message in August as we are reading through the book of Luke. Jesus is the King who knows where He is going. He comes in humility and brings peace. Jesus is a King who deserves your praise.
