From the time you meet a greeter at the front door you will find people like you who are friendly and genuinely eager to experience God. All three of our locations meet in older church buildings. The Wilsonville building, built in the '70's has three large buildings, but a small, comfortable sanctuary. You don’t have to dress up to feel comfortable at New Life Church. And, given that one of the mo
st important things we do every week is worship God, we don’t come in our pajamas either! At all three locations our goal is that you will find a comfortable, safe place to meet a great God. All locations have child-care. Our services last about 75 minutes and have contemporary music filled with meaningful lyrics and real-life messages that come right out of the Bible. We take an offering but encourage our guests not to feel obligated to give anything. What makes New Life Church different from other churches? A few things are genuinely different.
- Our messages come from the Bible. You can follow along in your Bible and see that we are not making the message up. We believe the Bible is good news, not a to-do list. God’s message gives reason to hope and is not, first of all, a self-help book.
- We don’t get involved in politics. While we believe the Bible expresses clearly what is right and wrong, political victory is not the concern of the church. Our message is “Our God reigns.” We don’t think that depends on who is elected or what bills are passed.
- We think it’s okay to be a small church. We want to continue to start new churches in which people can get to know other people. We are planning to continue to reproduce small healthy congregations.
- In a sentence, New Life Church is about God. Our music and speakers won't be perfect. We make our share of mistakes. But more than anything, we want to point people to the hope they can have in Jesus Christ.
