Good afternoon! Our family night at Ringo Pond (27795 S Beavercreek Road, Mulino, OR) is this coming Sunday, August 29 4:00-7:00 p.m. Please sign up here to bring something for the meal. This will also give us an idea of how many are coming as we will be providing pulled pork and fried chicken.

Tomorrow we have a unique opportunity at youth group as Pastor Jon will be with us to host an “Ask a Pastor” time. We gathered some questions last week about God, the Bible, faith, and culture. You can also email questions to [email protected]. This will be a great time of being pointed to God’s Word for answers!

Youth Families,

We are wrapping up a five-week series Wednesday evening called “Habits.” We’ve been focusing on what it looks like to be in relationship with God and understanding habits that draw us closer to Him. His love and grace is incredible and I’ve been seeing ways He is drawing us closer to Himself.

Good morning! Can you believe it’s already August? Please know that I’m praying for you and when we meet tomorrow as a youth staff we would like to be able to pray more specifically if you have any requests to share.

o Middle School Pietro’s Pizza and games this Friday, August 6, 2021 11:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Please sign up and have your $10 in by tomorrow at Youth Group. We have a sign up sheet and release forms. We will drive together from New Life Church West Linn in church vans.
o High School Day Trip Tuesday, August 10, 2021 3:00-10:30 p.m. We will take the church vans to a youth leader’s family property between St. Helens and Rainier. We’ll play ultimate frisbee, spike ball, Kan Jam, and more! Dinner will be provided. Bring a change of clothes if you would like to swim.
o New Life Youth Family Night Sunday, August 29, 2021 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Ringo Pond-27795 S Beavercreek Road Mulino, OR.

Good morning! Here’s a quick reminder about the youth pool party tomorrow, along with other details for upcoming youth activities.
• 6th-12th Grade Pool Party Wednesday, July 28, 2021 6:30-8:30 p.m. (in place of Youth Group). This will be at the Crooks’ house-message or text me if you need the address. Snacks will be provided. Bring a swimsuit and towel. please dress appropriately and thoughtfully. *We also need a current release form on file for each person. The form was attached to the email that went out and printed copies will be available tomorrow evening for parents to fill out.

Other upcoming activities:

• Random Acts of Kindness – Get the paper from youth group and join in. These will be due on Wednesday, August 25th and there will be a prize for everyone who participates, with the one who completes the most receiving a large prize!

We have some exciting opportunities to share with you! The Youth Leaders have been able to meet together and have several incredible gatherings planned for the rest of summer. Please mark these dates on your calendar, more details to come through flyers and signups.

• 6th-12th grade Youth Pool Party – Wednesday, July 28 2021 6:30-8:30 p.m. (in place of Youth Group). This will be at the Crook’s house-the address was emailed and you can message, or text me if you do not receive emails. Snacks will be provided and we’re asking students to bring a swimsuit, towel, and to please dress appropriately and thoughtfully.
• Middle School Pietro’s Pizza and Games – Friday, August 6 2021 11:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Invite your friends and join us as we go from New Life Church West Linn to Pietro’s in Beaverton. We’ll eat lunch and you will be able to play all the arcade games, laser tag, and miniature golf you want! The cost will be $10 and the sign-up deadline is Wednesday, August 4th.
• New Life Youth Family Night – Sunday, August 29 2021 4:00-7:00p.m. at Ringo Pond-27795 S Beavercreek Rd. Mulino, OR. Join us for a potluck dinner and an evening of food, games, and water fun…paddle boats, volleyball, 9 square, kan jam, spikeball, and more!
• High School – We are really close to confirming all the details for an amazing afternoon and evening away!

Good afternoon! I’ve been looking forward to Youth Group tomorrow evening for several days now. Thursday I will be able to share confirmed plans for the rest of July and August!

• Youth Group This Wednesday (come 15-20 minutes early to play some 9 Square!) – 6th-12th grade students from all three campuses will gather from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at New Life Church West Linn (1984 McKillican St. West Linn, OR 97068). Enter the church from the downstairs basement door just off the parking lot.
• Teaching – Tomorrow evening we will begin a new five-week series called “Habits.” We’ll talk about connecting with God and how we can know Him better. I emailed a weekly devotional sheet that goes along with the teaching. If you don't receive emails, please let me know.
• Prayer – How can the youth staff pray for you tomorrow when we meet?
