The St. Andrew’s Men’s Spiritual Formation Group enjoyed a special field trip on Monday to the USS North Carolina Battleship Memorial for the annual Memorial Day service honoring the brave World War II heroes who sacrificed so much for our freedoms.

The day began with a hearty breakfast before the group joined a large gathering aboard the battleship for the commemorative event. Among the group were three veterans who proudly served our nation — heroes all.

The Men’s Spiritual Formation Group meets every Monday at 8:00 a.m. in the Conference Room, and all men are welcome.

On Youth Sunday, graduating senior Lane Tompkins offered a moving reflection on faith, uncertainty, compassion, and belonging. Lane’s words are a powerful reminder that faith is not about having all the answers, but about learning to trust God and love others well.
