This past Sunday, we had 10 people who were baptized at Wrightsville Beach! This was a huge day for our church, and 50 of us were thrilled to be together at the beach for the baptisms, and time of fun and fellowship! We are so thrilled for the 10 of you who took this step of faith! We’re excited to walk alongside of you all as you continue to grow in your relationship with the Lord!

Today, the Hunt family, missionaries to Kenya, visited Christ Our Hope! We had a potluck after church to celebrate their homecoming! (Fun fact: Ellis & Philippa met at COH back in 2018, and Pastor Curt married them!) We got to hear from Ellis & Philippa all about their last 3 years serving with the ministry “Fruit That Remains” in Kenya. They answered all of our questions, and then we got to pray over them as a congregation. We were so thrilled to see them again, and to get to fellowship with them while they’re here in the States. Soon they will be returning to Kenya, where they have agreed to another 3 years with Fruit That Remains. We are praying for God’s provision over them, as they raise support for their next 3 years! This was a big weekend in the life of our church! Bishop Quigg visited us this weekend, and we had 7 people confirmed today! After our confirmation service, we had a celebratory potluck in the outdoor pavilion. The weather was gorgeous, and it was such a joyful time of celebration and fellowship! Thank you to all those who participated, and helped out with events this weekend! We are so grateful to the Lord for all of you!! And congratulations to all of our Confirmands! We pray, as you took this step in faith today, that the Lord blesses each one of you with His richest blessings!

Whether you are a mother, longing to be one, or have experienced loss in this area, the Lord knows you, and loves you unconditionally, and will meet you where you’re at today, because he is a good Father.
