Folks sometimes ask us why we do Tree Lot at FBC Wilmington . We thought about it and figured these folks would be the best to explain it.

To spread Christmas joy.
To spread God's love to our community.
To deepen friendships and relationships.
To raise money that makes our ministry possible.

It's deeper than trees. It's our ministry shared together.
Thanks for being part of it with us.

THIS WEEK Small Groups are back in action for our fall season, this time with a twist!

On Wednesdays during the CrossTraining season we'll welcome our Middle School folks for Small Groups at the AC from 6:15-7:30pm. (Any high school friends who find their way to the Activity Center on this night are welcome to bring food or homework and enjoy a Quiet Space in the middle of the week). Our High School Small Groups will now meet at the AC following SNAC each Sunday evening from 7-8pm.

Fall Retreat 2025 was a spectacular weekend spent with our favorite folks. Alongside all the rustic fun of a weekend at Camo Kirkwood we had meaningful conversations together about how God’s voice speaks to us and what God tells us: we are all loved and we are all called to something amazing. We love Fall Retreat, and we love these folks!

SUMMER 2025 RECAP, July

Guatemala. Words fall short telling the story of this incredible week. Together with our longtime partners at GRACE Ministries we served our new friends and neighbors in this beautiful country.

We worked hard and played hard. We laughed a lot and cried a lot. We went to spread God's love to those who needed it and in doing so were shown God's love by these wonderful communities who welcomed and embraced us.

There's so many stories to tell about this week and we can't wait to share them soon. For now, we see the moments in these pictures and know that God was with us in Guatemala.

SUMMER 2025 RECAP, June pt2

Moving on into June saw some of our Middle School folks head off to Converse University in Spartanburg, SC for a week at Passport camps. We rocked it in the Rec Party, sung and danced our way through a glow-tastic cosmic Dance Party, led worship alongside an amazing camp staff, and experienced God's presence and love in new and exciting ways. We learned about Wide Open Spaces and lived into a world where we can welcome our neighbors into wide open spaces of God's love. A week at PASSPORT camp is a week well spent and we certainly enjoyed ours!

SUMMER 2025 RECAP, June pt1

We kicked off an awesome summer in a big way with our Senior Trip to Siesta Key, FL. A group of fantastic graduates and adults traveled to Siesta Key, FL to make lots of memories by the water and the beach. We took in sunsets over the Gulf, paddled the mangrove tunnels, and spent a lot of time by the water. It was a big, fun week together!

Coming home turned our attentions to one of our favorite weeks of the summer: Camp Jonah! Over 50 of our fantastic students volunteered a week of their summer to lead our kids at camp. They served as group companions, rotation leaders, stage actors, and more. It was an EPIC week! As a small way of saying thanks, we took volunteers out for some special outings that week like a beach afternoon, arcade fun at Dave & Buster's, and an afternoon at Jungle Rapids.

It’s graduation weekend so it gives us another chance to celebrate our graduates from the class of 2025! We shared these moments with them, their families, and our congregation last Sunday at Graduate Recognition Sunday. We love y’all!
