Alhamdulillah, we were honored to once again serve hot dinners to the residents of the DuPagePads Interim Housing Center!

Since we started Mecca Meals Missions in February, we have served approximately 1,260 hot meals to date.

The shelter is currently home to more than 100 children, and with the school year beginning, we reached out to learn what they needed most. Thanks to our community’s generous donations to the Mecca Meals fund, this month we were able to provide much-needed school supplies along with the meals.

This is what we hope Mecca Meals Missions can continue to be — not only providing food, but responding to the needs of our neighbors and finding meaningful ways to support them.

A huge thank you to all of our wonderful volunteers who continue to show up with smiles, ready to work and serve.

📚 Mecca Quran Institute Teachers Workshop!

Join us for a special Teachers Workshop featuring lectures in both Arabic and English, designed to support and strengthen our educators with practical tools, Qur’anic reflection, and teaching strategies.

Our sessions will feature:
• Sh. Mutazz Alabd — Managing Qur’an Sessions & Addressing Diverse Student Needs
• Dr. Mustafa Khattab — The Art of Tadabbur
• Sh. Ahmed Alsheikhi — Bidaya Book Level 1 & Bidaya Tajweed Level 2 (registration required for this session)
