⌛ Throwback Tuesday: Last week, we shared a story from 1950 about Dorcas Societies from across Chicago coming together to help the city prepare for the aftermath of an atomic attack.

With help from the wonderful staff at , we found the full-page feature published in the Chicago Herald-American (Oct. 3, 1950, p. 19). It tells the story of Adventist women who envisioned every Adventist church becoming a beacon of hope and practical assistance in a moment of crisis.
