One week after Independence Day, the Pontifical Faculty of the Immaculate Conception continues celebrating the spirit of our nation as America commemorates its 250th anniversary. 🇺🇸
Our students marked the occasion by decorating one of our classrooms in red, white, and blue, reflecting both gratitude for our country's heritage and hope for its future.
We're also sharing a special piece of our own history: a letter from President Ronald Reagan congratulating the PFIC on our 80th anniversary in 1985. As we approach 250 years of American independence, we're grateful to be part of a tradition of Catholic higher education that has helped form generations of priests, religious, and lay faithful in service to the Church and society.
In this anniversary year, we join the Church in praying for our nation—that God may grant our leaders wisdom, our communities justice and charity, and our people the grace to seek the common good. May the Immaculate Conception, Patroness of the United States, intercede for our country.
