The generosity of CLC members is overwhelming! We currently have enough supplies for more than 100 complete school kits!

We especially need the following to reach our goal of 140:
▪️Pens – BALLPOINT, not gel (we need 50)
▪️Scissors – blunt, child-size (we need 40)
▪️Notebooks – 70-sheet notebooks, wide- or college-ruled (still 35 cents at Walmart) – (we need 50)
▪️Rulers – 12-inch ruler with centimeters on one side and inches on the other (we need 20)

There is a basket in the Gathering Space for donations. Thank you, again, for your generous support.

Meeting in the Middle - THIS SUNDAY!
This informal group is a chance for women facing the many changes of middle age- emptying nests, aging parents, physical changes, etc.- to share conversations, comfort, and coffee with each other and consider what following Jesus looks like in this season. We will meet at FLUID Coffee Roasters, 260 Franklin Street in Valpo, on Sunday, August 30 at 2 PM.

Resources include information on healthcare, food and water, power/Wi-Fi, debris and tree removal, and other assistance.

Please keep in mind that this list is not all-encompassing, and there may be additional resources available throughout the community.
