It’s easy to love those who love us back, but Jesus calls us to a higher standard. In Luke 6:37-45, He reminds us that a good tree bears good fruit, and out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.

True theology isn’t just found in what we know in our heads; it's revealed in how we love—especially when it's hard. How we treat the broken and the difficult people in our lives is the real test of our faith.

We are feeling incredibly blessed at First Baptist Church of Valparaiso! 🙏

God has been so good to us, and we are thrilled to share some wonderful new updates and additions around our church building and grounds. As we continue to grow and steward the space we’ve been given, we are so thankful for:

🍼 An Updated Nursery: A fresh, welcoming, and safe space for our littlest ones to play and learn!

👣 New Hallway Carpet: Beautifully updated flooring to welcome you as you walk through our doors.

🇺🇸 A Dedicated Flagpole: A brand-new flagpole installed to honor and remember our beloved congregants who have faithfully served in the military.

🚜 A New Mower: A huge practical blessing that will help us better care for and maintain our beautiful church property.

We are so grateful for the generosity and hard work that made these updates possible!
