St Andrew's Episcopal Church

St Andrew's Episcopal Church "All are Welcome in this Place" St. Andrews is a proud member of the Valparaiso community. We hope to welcome you in your search for a new church home!

After spending well over 100 years in our original church building on Erie St. in downtown Valpo, we outgrew that original building, and relocated to our place of worship on Bullseye Lake Rd in 2005.

O Judge of the nations, we remember before you with grateful hearts the men and women of our country who in the day of decision ventured much for the liberties we now enjoy. Grant that we may not rest until all the people of this land share the benefits of true freedom and gladly accept its disciplines. This we ask in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

May Messy Church: Knowing Jesus in a New Way.

The Standing Committee and Diocesan Council of the Episcopal Diocese of Northern Indiana invite all Episcopalians in our diocese to gather for conversation about hopes and expectations for the next bishop of Northern Indiana and the future of our diocese. These conversations are important; they are about foundational aspects of polity, identity, and unity in our beloved church. Your presence, your thoughts, and your prayers, therefore, are vital to our discernment of the Holy Spirit’s work among us. This work, we believe, is best done face-to-face, so we are invoking the Baptismal promise to “do all in your power to support one another in our life in Christ” in a very tangible, very meaningful way by committing to attend and participate. All meetings are open to anyone from anywhere in the diocese; we ask that you choose and attend one:

South - Saturday, May 30: St Andrew Episcopal Church, Kokomo, 1 p.m. (EDT)
East - Sunday, May 31: St. Alban's Episcopal Church, Fort Wayne, 3 p.m. (EDT)
West - Saturday, June 6: St Andrew's Episcopal Church, Valparaiso, 1 p.m. (CDT)
North - Sunday, June 7: St. Paul's, Mishawaka, 3 p.m. (EDT)
West - Saturday, June 13: St. Paul’s, Munster, 10 a.m. (CDT)

Advance registration is NOT required. Meetings are in-person only. Questions? Send an email to Dean Brian Grantz, President of the Standing Committee.
