Welcome to Countryside United Methodist Church. We invite you to join us Sunday mornings at 9:00 am for Worship. Open Hearts. Open Doors. Open Minds.

We work especially hard at being an inclusive faith community where persons from all walks of life feel comfortable worshiping and working together. Our commitment to the Gospel of Jesus Christ continues to connect us to the past and catapults us into the future. In Christ, all things are possible. Although the history of Countryside United Methodist Church spans just over 35 years, Countryside evolved from a desire for a bridge between the peoples of Sidney and Philo. Methodist ministry began in the 1830’s when Andrew Jackson was President of the United States. The legacy of Countryside includes former churches like Alice Chapel, Lost Grove, Pleasant Hill and the Methodist Churches of Philo and Sidney. Throughout the years the names and faces have changed. Yet the commitment of Countryside is based upon the love of God and our mission is to reach out and make disciples for Jesus Christ.
