olved from a desire for a bridge between the peoples of Sidney and Philo. Methodist ministry began in the 1830’s when Andrew Jackson was President of the United States. The legacy of Countryside includes former churches like Alice Chapel, Lost Grove, Pleasant Hill and the Methodist Churches of Philo and Sidney. Throughout the years the names and faces have changed. Yet the commitment of Countryside is based upon the love of God and our mission is to reach out and make disciples for Jesus Christ.
