Just a message for parents -

If you lose the instructions for Tie Dye, or throw out the bag after you take out the shirt. We'll leave the instructions here.

TIE-DYE RINSE INSTRUCTIONS

Initial Rinse: Keep rubber bands on and rinse with cold water to remove excess dye without bleeding into white areas.

Remove Ties: Remove rubber bands and rinse thoroughly under warm-to-hot water until the water runs clear.

Machine Wash: Wash the garment(s) in the washing machine alone (or with similar colors) using a small amount of laundry detergent. Use a hot water setting to remove excess, unbonded dye.

Subsequent Washes: Wash the garment separately or with other tie-dyed items for the first 1-2 washes to prevent staining other clothes.

Drying: Air drying is best, but a low heat setting in the dryer is acceptable.

Tips
Wear Gloves: Use gloves during the rinsing process to avoid staining your hands.

Avoid Fabric Softener: Do not use fabric softener, as it can affect the vibrancy of the dye.

Prevent Fading: Wash with cold water in future washings to keep colors vibrant.

Handle with Care: If you cannot wash immediately after rinsing, lay the garment flat to prevent colors from bleeding into each other.

Some of your kiddos may have added color to my shirt to test their colors. I also used this one as an example in the afternoon. Thanks friends!

✅ Wear your class shirt (or a shirt in your class color) with uniform bottoms
✅ Don’t forget your socks for the inflatables
✅ Sunscreen is a must! ☀️

We can’t wait to celebrate with everyone tomorrow 🐾💚

🎉 Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week has officially begun! 🎉

We’ve kicked things off with a special display in the Schumacher Gym—now we need YOUR help to fill it with love! 💚

Stop by when you’re at school and leave a Post-it note sharing a kind message, a thank you, or a favorite memory for our amazing teachers and staff. Your words truly mean so much and will brighten their entire week!
