That’s some great creativity in taking the church to the masses!

Love the comment “A Talk-to-Me booth in The Show-Me State” (and isn’t this a great example of Show-Me?? As in mercy, grace, forgiveness…)

Catholic priest Fr. Ryan Truss brought the Sacrament of Reconciliation beyond the walls of the parish by setting up a confessional at a fair in Missouri, inviting people to step inside and receive God’s mercy. In the middle of the noise, crowds, and festivities, a quiet place was made available for anyone seeking forgiveness and peace.

It’s a beautiful reminder that evangelization can sometimes be as simple as making the sacraments accessible to people where they are. Behind that confessional door was the same mercy Christ entrusted to His Church: “Whose sins you forgive are forgiven them” (John 20:23). 🙏✝️

Meet Fr. Peter and Fr. Andrew Infanger—a father and son who were both called to serve Christ as Catholic priests.

Fr. Peter was married and raised a family. After his wife passed away, he began discerning a vocation he had never expected: the priesthood.

He eventually answered that call and was ordained a Catholic priest for the Diocese of Joliet.

Then came an extraordinary family story.

His son, Fr. Andrew Infanger, also discerned a vocation to the priesthood and was ordained for the Archdiocese of Milwaukee.

Today, father and son are both Catholic priests, serving the Church in different dioceses.

Their story is a beautiful reminder that God can call us at different stages of life—and sometimes, one person's courageous “yes” can inspire another generation to follow Christ.

One father. One son. Two priests. One calling: to serve God and His people. 🙏✝️
