Join us for our Christian Education Hour this Sunday, June 21st at 9:20am:
--Seminarian Kyle Moellenhoff leads the second part of our 2-part look at the Epistle of JUDE in the Fellowship Hall. This Bible study is livestreamed and you will find the link at https://slcas.org/church/streaming-video/.
--Our Lutheran instruction class, LUTHERAN BASICS meets in the Conference Room with Pastor Huebner.
--Children are invited to the Chapel for Summer Sunday School, led by Mrs. Katie Koonce.

We worship this weekend in observance of the Fourth Sunday after Pentecost on Saturday at 5pm and Sunday at 8am and 10:30am. Our Epistle reading from Romans 6:12-23 serve as the sermon text. We are reminded that because of Christ's death and resurrection, sin has no dominion over us. By God's grace and Jesus' blood, we have been set free from sin, and have become "slaves of righteousness," which leads to God's free gift of eternal life in Christ our Lord! Let us therefore live by this grace and sin no more!

Holy Communion is celebrated at all services and Salem's Parish Handbells ring "With Unending Praise" during the 8:00 service on Sunday morning.

Summer Sunday School meets with Mrs. Katie Koonce in the Chapel at 9:20am. Children age 3 through those entering 5th grade are invited to attend to learn more about Jesus and His love for us, sing some songs of praise, and make some fun crafts.

Our Sunday Morning Bible Study meets at 9:20am in our Fellowship Hall. Join us this Sunday, June 14th as Seminarian Kyle Moellenhoff leads a new 2-week study of the Epistle of Jude.

Join us for worship this weekend on Saturday at 5pm and Sunday at 8am and 10:30am as we observe The Third Sunday after Pentecost. We'll hear a message based on the Epistle reading from Romans 5. Do you know anyone who would die for you? Would you die for anyone? St. Paul reminds us of the great love of God, who sent Jesus to suffer and die for us! His blood covers our sin and makes us righteous before God. By God's grace, salvation is ours! Thanks be to Christ our living Lord and Savior!

Children age 3 through those entering 5th grade in the fall are welcome to join Mrs. Koonce in the Chapel at 9:20am each Sunday for Bible stories, songs, and crafts. We hope your child(ren) will join us! (Older kids are invited to come and assist the young ones.)
