Join us for worship this weekend on Saturday at 5pm and Sunday at 8am and 10:30am as we observe The Second Sunday after Pentecost. Pastor Hill delivers a message based on the Epistle reading from Romans 4:13-25, where we learn how God is faithful and true to His promises. Abraham, whom God promised to make him "the father of many nations" trusted that promise, even though he and his wife were both very old and childless. But His promise was true, just as the promised Messiah came into the world to save mankind by his death and resurrection. By faith, we believe that we will pass through death into eternal life - as God has promised. And when our faith wavers, God is faithful to sustain us by His Word and Sacraments.

The 8:00 service on Sunday morning will be livestreamed. The link will be available at https://slcas.org/church/streaming-video/. Those without internet access can listen in live to any one of the three services by calling 314-274-9055 and pressing 1 for the Conference PIN Number.

Our Christian Education Hour resumes this Sunday, May 31st at 9:20am...
We begin a new 9-week series of LUTHERAN BASICS with Pastor Huebner in the Conference Room. This is a Lutheran instruction class for those who wish to become members of the Lutheran Church. It's also a good class for Lutherans to review their knowledge of the faith.
Pastor Hill continues with the study of the Epistle of James in the Fellowship Hall. James speaks clearly to the heart of Christian life: steadfast faith, compassionate love in action, and trust in Christ alone.
Summer Sunday School begins in the Chapel with Mrs. Koonce. We invite children, ages 3 - 5th grade for Bible stories, songs, and crafts. Older students are welcome to come and serve as helpers to the younger children.

Join us for worship this weekend on Saturday at 5pm and Sunday at 8am and 10:30am as we celebrate The Holy Trinity, confessing our faith in the Triune God - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Pastor Hill will deliver a message entitled "Knowing God Means Listening to Jesus," based on the Gospel reading from Matthew 28. Jesus is the One with all authority in heaven and earth and is with us always. Hearing His words, we hear the will of God. May we be strengthened in faith as we listen to Jesus, our Savior, receive His gifts of grace, and share His love with the world.

The 8:00 service on Sunday will be livestreamed. The link will be available at https://slcas.org/church/streaming-video/. Those without internet access can listen in by phone: dial 314-274-9055 and press 1 when prompted for the Conference PIN Number.

We worship this weekend on Saturday at 5pm and Sunday at 8am and 10:30am and celebrate The Day of Pentecost. We hear the Gospel reading from John 7, where Jesus speaks of the Holy Spirit, which we receive in Holy Baptism. Baptized into Christ, we are filled with His "rivers of living water," so that we are forgiven and saved for everlasting life. We thank God for His Holy Spirit, which sanctifies, enlightens, and keeps us in the one true faith!

Holy Communion is celebrated at all services.
