Here are some photos from our last showcase.

Please check out details below for our upcoming June performances.

Our next performance is an evening of dance called “Take Two and call me in the morning” created by Erin Morris and Elinor Harrison.

And later in the month (June 26th and 27th), check out “In Tension” by Paige Van Nest.

It is an evening of musical theater exploring the intersection of activism with everyday life, choreographed by Paige Van Nest. It will be performed by Zoe DeYoung, Elyzah Gasmen, Sam Schenkein, and Paige Van Nest.
Here are Paige’s words about what she created:

“I hope to explore what activism in dance looks like in 2026 and study how people move during events such as protests, music concerts, political rallies, and parades. Why and how are people moving around in space at these events? Are there any similarities, differences, trends? How could all of these things translate to a choreographic process? What is the role of the artist in social justice? How do we create community? In particular, I am fascinated with the way movement of bodies drove the Armenian Revolution in 2018. Decentralized civil disobedience was used to pressure a rising authoritarian prime minister out of office. The Armenian people would use their bodies to block the streets and transportation. When police would arrive, instead of staying and fighting, they would simply scatter and go somewhere else. The people made their wishes known and were ultimately successful without the firing of a single gunshot. This simple but ingenious strategy worked entirely off the movement of human bodies, not the destruction of them. The sound score of this show would include rock and metal music that also deals with themes including social justice, freedom, genocide and the effects of war.”

We've got two great reasons to attend Sunday worship this week.

This Sunday we will recognize and celebrate Hope's Class of 2026 graduates at 10:30 worship. We will extend love, encouragement, and prayers as they prepare for what's next.

It is also a Communion Sunday! In the United Church of Christ, Christ's table is open to everyone. No matter who you are or where you are on life's journey, you are welcome here.

Come celebrate, connect, and share in worship together. We look forward to seeing you Sunday.

Do you have a child entering 6th-10th grade next fall? If so, they are ready for confirmation!

Our confirmation class is a time for youth to learn more about the Christian faith, the church, and their discipleship in Christ.

The Rite of Confirmation itself takes place on Palm Sunday (March 21, 2027!) when the youth are invited to confirm for themselves the baptismal vows their parents made on their behalf at their baptisms. This rite marks the beginning of full membership in the church, as well as a spiritual milestone in one’s faith journey.

If you are interested in our confirmation class, we will be having an information session on Sunday, May 31st following the 10:30 service for both parents and youth. The class itself will begin in late August. If interested, please contact Pastor Sarah.
