7 years ago my daughter made the center hourglass block and the center star block plus the 4 extra flying geese. I finally got around to making something with them…these orphan blocks now have a purpose and a home as a topper to my cabinets in my sewing studio. I was amazed I found the coordination fabrics all these years later.

Snowflake is the name of this quilt. It was fun to make. I did an edge to edge quilting on it with cuddle on the back. It will be perfect for those cold winter nights!

This little kit of all of these 2.5” squares was a kit that I rescued from my mother in law’s stash. It’s called an ‘African Mosaic’. Fun and fast to make and easy too. I added the black border and batik border. Quilted on my APQS Millie.
