This verse is a great reminder that we should not be afraid and that no matter what comes God is always with us. We can stand strong and face things with confidence because God will never let us go. He will walk with us every step of the way.

"Have I not commanded you Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."
Joshua 1:9

In Isaiah 45 we read of Gods promises to fulfill His plans through Cyrus. Just think about that for a moment, Cyrus didn't even know or follow God and yet God anointed him, guided him, blessed and used him.

If God was able to do great things through a man who had no relationship with Him, how much more should God be able to do through those who have at least a mustard seeds worth of faith in Him!

If we have received a ministry from the Lord, we must be faithful to it. We must consider our lives valuable only to the purpose of fulfilling that ministry, knowing we have done what Jesus sent us to do.

We each have to find our niche in life and spiritually we find it when we receive from the Lord.

God is not offering us a choice of how we can serve Him. He is asking for absolute loyalty to His commission, a faithfulness to what we discern when we are in the closest possible fellowship with God.

If we have received a ministry from God, we will know the need is not the same as the call. The need is the opportunity to exercise the call.

The call is to be faithful to the ministry God has given us.
