First Congregational Church of Spencer, IA

First Congregational Church of Spencer, IA We practice the Congregational Way, encouraging all people to experience God’s grace by freely thinking and building personal relationships with Christ.

We are having in-person worship, so please join us Sunday mornings from 10am-11am for a wonderful hour of worshiping together. (During COVID we are asking for masks to be worn and six feet distance to be kept.)

BigStuf 2026 is in the books! ☀️🌊

Thank you to the congregation of First Congregational Church for supporting our fundraisers and believing in our youth. Because of your generosity, this faith-filled week became possible, and we are so grateful.

Our girls experienced seven inspiring worship sessions with speakers Tega Taylor, Reed Moore, and Gerald Fadayomi. This year’s theme, “Welcome to the Neighborhood,” reminded us that following Jesus means creating welcoming communities where everyone is seen, loved, and valued.

Please continue to pray for these girls as they travel home, that what God planted in their hearts this week will continue to grow and bear fruit in the days ahead. ❤️
