Looking for a meaningful way to deepen your faith and explore the questions that shape your spiritual life? Education for Ministry (EfM) is a welcoming, weekly small-group journey through the Old Testament, New Testament, Church History, Christian Spirituality, and Ethics. Through conversation, reflection, and shared stories, you’ll discover new ways of understanding your church, your community, yourself, and your relationship with God. No prior theological study is needed, just curiosity and a willingness to explore.

To celebrate the start of the 2026-27 chorister season, the Grace Cathedral Choir and the Girls’ Choir combine to sing Choral Evensong together on Thursday, September 3 at 5:30 pm. The service features choral music by contemporary women composers from the United States, Canada, and Great Britain. The lyrical and tuneful King’s College Service by Joanna Forbes L’Estrange is a particular favorite of the choristers. Watch the livestream at gracecathedral.org!

As Malcolm Clemens Young prepares to step down as Dean of Grace Cathedral after eleven years, he considers what it means to release the life we have constructed for ourselves and discover the deeper identity that is “hidden in the love and mercy of God.” Letting go is not simply about giving something up; it is a movement toward transformation, freedom, and deeper union with God.

Join us tomorrow at 6 pm for another installation of Imaginary Acoustic Visions, a listening session in celebration of the 50th anniversary of Bill Fontana's first project! Our Artist in Residence will introduce pieces ranging from his work on the Millennium Bridge in London to the melting Dachstein Glacier in the Austrian Alps, with stories about their creation and play short segments from a variety of selected works. Even if you've come to a previous session, you may hear a new piece he hasn't featured before!

Our GraceArts members are invited to meet Bill Fontana before the session at 5 pm to hear from him about his pioneering work with sound and his most recent sound sculpture, Resonance, which he created using our silent bells and organ pipes.
