All seven active African American women bishops of The United Methodist Church plan to gather at 7 p.m. U.S. Eastern time April 3 for the Good Friday service at LIVE at St. Mark UMC Hanover in Maryland. The bishops will join in a service that meditates on the seven last sayings of Jesus at the crucifixion. https://stmarkumchanover.org/7SOS

Start the week on Sunday March 29th with Shouts of Hosanna and Waving of Palm Branches at our 10am service.

Join us on Thursday April 2nd at 6PM for a meaningful Maundy Thursday service

And Finally, join us for a Joyous Easter/Resurrection Sunday on April 5th.

Tomorrow at Jones we will be creating hygiene and food bags for our unhoused neighbors. It’s not a solution and we will continue to advocate with the city for housing and resources but in the mean time we will do what we can for our neighbors outside. Join us in our first Sunday of Lent tomorrow and thank you to SEEDS for partnering with us.
