Good Friday Service | Friday, April 3, 2026, 7pm PT on Zoom (find the link at pineumc.org)

Join for a service of readings, reflection, and ritual. We’ll read the stories of Jesus’ ministry - from inviting the oppressed to take their place in a historical movement of healing and liberation, towards Jesus being targeted and executed by Empire.

🤲🏽 To make this service more meaningful, have with you a small bowl of oil (can be as is, or mixed with essential oils, lavender, or other healing herbs). 🤲🏽

🌈All are welcome in this LGBTQ+ held space.

Sunday, Feb. 16, 10:30am | Prayer & Reflection Service: Day of Remembrance | Tanforan Memorial Plaza at San Bruno BART station

Join Pine Church for a time of prayer, song, ritual, centering, and fellowship in honor of Day of Remembrance - remembering the U.S.’s unjust internment of Japanese Americans during World War 2.

This time together serves as our usual Hybrid Worship Service, but no Zoom option will be available this time. Please meet us in-person. 🙂

What is remembrance calling you towards in response to these times? What legacies are we being invited to live in to as people of faith? Let’s explore these together in community, with a sharing from Edie.

Tanforan Memorial Plaza, 1177 Huntington Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066 - Right outside of San Bruno BART Station

For more info, please email [email protected]. This event is intergenerational, LGBTQ+-led and affirming. All are welcome!

“It’s a biblical mandate for us to welcome the foreigner, to care for them,” he said.

He pointed to directives to welcome the stranger throughout the Old and New Testament, including Jesus’ words in the Gospels. The United Methodist Social Principles also urge care for immigrants and refugees.

“It’s a biblical understanding that we are placed with this responsibility to care, protect and love our neighbor.”

United Methodists are among the Christian and Jewish bodies suing to prevent ICE agents from intruding on their ministry with immigrants and their worship.

TONIGHT! 6PM PT on Zoom - Blue Christmas Service: The Longest Night of the Year

A contemplative service of readings and song for the grieving and for those who seek intentional time for reflection this season, away from the holiday expectations to put on a happy face. In community, we hold together the grief in our personal lives as well as our grief for the world. Come as you are.
