St. Dominic's JPIC-Justice, Peace, Integrity of Creation St. We learn and respond at the level of personal relationships, the parish community, and public policy.

Dominic's JPIC (Justice, Peace, Integrity of Creation) in San Francisco seeks to answer Pope Francis' call to hear the poor and marginalized, contemplate and promote Catholic social teaching, and take action for life, justice, and the common good. OUR MISSION To reflect on the experiences and social concerns of our community, study the issues and Catholic Social Teaching, pray, witness, and act fo

The JPIC committee meets the 4th Thursday evening of the month at 7pm in the Aquinas Room for a planning meeting, and hosts an informal "Justice Cafe" once a month on the First Friday at 9am in the Siena Room. Other JPIC events for education, advocacy, prayer, and social action are planned on an ongoing basis, so check out webpage or page. Contact [email protected] to join the JPIC email list.

A conference on an important set of issues coming up next month at the Cathedral.

Converging Roads is coming to the Event Center at St. Mary's Cathedral on November 17, 2018 starting at 8:30 AM, and we will be talking about The Heart of End of Life Care: Catholic Social Doctrine. Because the people in your groups are directly and intimately involved with those at the end of their lives, the presentation at the conference may be of interest to them, and we hope that many of them will be able to attend. Continuing education credits will be offered for chaplains, physicians, physician assistants, nurses, and nurse practitioners. The White Mass, celebrating health care professionals, will conclude the conference, and all are welcome to attend.

To register for the conference and/or RSVP for the White Mass, please visit our website: https://forlifeandfamily.org/events/cr18-sfca/

These kinds of things need to stop! Join the action this THURSDAY!!!
