Lord, we come to you today to thank you for being among us as our Father. We thank you that as your children we can find life in your spirit and truth. Grant that each of us may find how our lives on earth can be lifted up by your Spirit. Your Spirit brings us what we do not possess, so that our daily work, and all our striving and struggling for the outward things of life, may be filled by what is higher and greater. Your Spirit helps us from falling into base and petty ways, and from getting lost in earthly experiences which do not last, no matter how much they demand our attention. Lord, we thank you for all you have done for your us. Please continue to help us, so that we may serve you every day with gladness and gratitude. Amen

Lord, you are the light of humankind, full of joy and trust, so we ask that we may have access to your almighty power, your power against all darkness, sin, death, and bo***ge. Lord, may we feel close to your almighty power. Hear our weeping, for we are and remain your children, to whom you have promised redemption and deliverance. Together we hold fast to that promise and stand before you today saying, "We are your children in Jesus Christ the Savior, whom you have sent to us." Hear your children, O Lord. Bless each one of us and allow us to serve you even in the misery of our world. Amen.

Father of us all, grant that we may know something of you in our hearts. Each one of us is different, with their own particular needs, but we are all your children and should all become children of your Spirit. So that even in the difficulties of life, in the many struggles, trials, temptations, and sorrows, we can keep up our courage and remain in the Spirit, who has been victorious in every aspect of our lives. Protect and strengthen us on all our ways. We praise you for all you have done and for all the help you have given us, past, present, and future. Amen

Gracious God, from whom all great promises are given for humankind and especially for your people. We gather today in your presence and rejoice before you, for your promises are sure and your works will be revealed to the glory of your name. Grant us steadfast faith in the grace of Jesus Christ. Grant us faith to hold firm, and in spite of all the evil in this world to trust that you are ruling and will one day set everything right. Lord, we cry out to you, as the deer pants for refreshing water, our souls cry out to you, “Our Father in heaven, may your name be honored among all mankind. May your kingdom come and your will be done on earth as in heaven.” Amen

O Lord, as I come before you this morning, my spirit is filled with gratitude that you have given me a life and filled it with meaning. Knowing that you have a purpose for me is such a gift and I cannot express how grateful I am; even when this world or my own thoughts fill me with feelings of despair, I can turn to you and fully appreciate that you are in charge and have filled my existence with meaning and purpose. Lord, you promised that if we love you and obey your teaching, you and the Father will make your home within us; today I declare my love for you; and there is nothing I want more than to have you live within me, and being present in my life. Help me to follow your teaching in every way; for you have given us grace, that by your death and resurrection, we may be perfect before you. Accept my love and be with me, today and always, I pray; not by my merits, but by your grace. Amen

Lord, grant that we may find the power of your Spirit today so that we may live on a higher level, no longer controlled by our lower natures but strengthened to take up the battles of life. May we be children of the Spirit and may we walk in the Spirit. Guard us against our carelessness and keep us joyful and courageous. Lord, help us and counsel us on all our ways so that we may honor you and testify that you and you alone are our God, our only true help. Amen

Heavenly Father, I am your humble servant, and I come before you today in need of hope. There are times when I fell helpless, and there are times when I feel weak. I pray for hope. I need hope for a better future and for a better life for everyone. I need hope for love and kindness to be shown to all. Some say that the sky is at its darkest just before the light and I pray that this is true, for all seems dark right now. Lord, I need your light, in every way. I pray to be filled with your light from head to toe. To bask in your glory and to know that all will be right in the world, as you have planned, and as you want it to be. Help me to walk in your light, and live my life in faith and glory. Amen

Almighty God, look upon us your children and give us your Spirit. From your fullness we constantly need to receive strength for the struggles meant for us in this life. Grant that light may come wherever darkness still reigns, especially where it is so dark that we do not know which way to turn. Lord, hear our prayer for all people, and let your justice and your truth alone be victorious. Let all people receive what you have promised, and let them realize that no matter what happens, they will remain your children forever. Amen

Almighty God, keep watch over us today and lead us fully into the life of Jesus Christ. Let your Son become truly living within us so that we may be full of joy because we belong to the realm of heaven and can live every day with faith in him. We thank you for all that you have let us experience. We thank you with all our hearts that in your great compassion you have showered so much good on us who are not perfect in our faith. We pray that you keep our hearts in the light, keep us patient and dedicated, for then more can be done among us to the glory of your name. Amen

Lord, grant us true unity with your Son Jesus Christ, so that his power can be revealed in us and through us. May we find a new life in which we can truly serve you. Protect us from all evil and be among us with your Spirit to make us people who are genuine. Lord, let your will be carried out more and more in this age. Let your will intervene so that a new creation may come, a new heaven and a new earth, as we have been promised. May your name be great among us, and may your kingdom come so that everything in heaven and on earth will be done according to your will. Amen

Lord, a new day is here. I’ve never lived this day before. It is full of unknown ups and downs. It’s full of possibilities and it is full of moments that no one but You can see. Lord, thank You for seeing ahead of me on my path and being there to catch me when I fall. I can only live one moment at a time, so help me to live in each of these moments, knowing that You are there. Your Holy Spirit dwells in me each moment, giving me comfort, guiding and directing me. Thank You, Lord for Your grace and presence in my life. Please continue to give me Your guidance and grace to walk in Your light today. In Jesus’ name, Amen
