🚗✝️ If Bible Characters Had Cars… Would Jesus Use GPS?
Let’s be real — if you’ve ever read the Bible just right, you’ll start to wonder:
Did God accidentally write the first driver’s manual? 😅
Here’s what I mean…
💨 Jehu (2 Kings 9:20):
“He drives like Jehu son of Nimshi—he drives furiously!”
Translation: That friend who treats the speed limit like a suggestion. Jehu had road rage before roads were invented. Do NOT carpool with this man.
🚗 Moses & Pharaoh’s Army (Exodus 14:25):
“He took off their chariot wheels, so they drove them with difficulty…”
That moment when your tire pressure light comes on and you’re just out here praying for dry land and divine roadside assistance.
🧭 The Holy Spirit in Isaiah 30:21
“You will hear a voice behind you saying, ‘This is the way, walk in it.’”
So you’re telling me the Bible had GPS before Waze? That’s the Holy Spirit, sis — always recalculating your route with grace and truth.
🚦 Proverbs 4:25
“Let your eyes look straight ahead… do not turn to the right or left.”
Clearly, this was meant for that one cousin who swerves at every Taco Bell they pass. Stay in your lane — spiritually and literally.
👀 Ecclesiastes 10:2
“The heart of the wise leans to the right, the fool to the left…”
This verse has been misquoted at traffic stops and political debates for centuries. Let’s not.
📝 Habakkuk 2:2
“Write the vision and make it plain…”
Sounds like a good ol’ fashioned to-do list before a road trip. Don’t forget the snacks. And the aux cord.
So yeah…
➡️ The Bible didn’t come with turn signals
➡️ But it definitely came with direction.
Truth is, life has a lot of twists and turns. But when you’ve got God in the passenger seat (or better yet, behind the wheel), you’re always going to arrive where you’re meant to be.
