A TRUE HISTORIC DINER IN SAN FRANCISCO 🥞 I can’t be the only one completely obsessed with vintage diner aesthetics like this. Which vibe are you claiming: the syrup drip or the vintage record player?

OUR MORNING WALK TURNED INTO A LITTLE PIECE OF SAN FRANCISCO HISTORY. 🥞✨

Every time Einstein and I pass Sears Fine Food on Powell Street, he tries to go inside. This time, they were open for brunch, so I finally let him lead the way.

Sears Fine Food has been a San Francisco institution since 1938. It was founded by Hilbur and Ben Sears, a retired circus clown who became known for serving tiny Swedish pancakes made from a recipe passed down through Hilbur’s Swedish family.

The restaurant once used two heated pink Cadillacs as a waiting room when the lines stretched outside. Today, its vintage photographs, old posters, dark wood and classic diner details still preserve the feeling of old San Francisco.

I ordered the flame-grilled New York steak with house-cut fries and green beans, then finished with Sears’ world-famous Swedish pancakes for dessert.

Sometimes the best San Francisco discoveries begin by following a four-pound dog through the door. 🐾

THIS WEEK A YEAR AGO, I GOT MY IDENTITY BACK. ❤️ After nearly six months, I finally recovered my social accounts from a sustained cybersecurity nightmare.

It went far beyond phishing or losing a password. I dealt with impersonation, fake websites, SEO poisoning, and fragmented profiles, just as my visibility across search and AI was growing.

When you operate at scale, traditional social vanity metrics only tell part of the story. Today, my work isn't confined to a single fleeting feed. Every piece of short-form content and long-form editorial I publish is indexed across 14 AI and search engines. That means content published today continues to drive discovery months later when someone searches Google or asks an AI engine about a luxury destination, hotel, restaurant, or brand I’ve covered.

My engineering background made the difference. Today, my footprint is cleaner, my profiles are unified, and my legitimate digital authority commands stronger positioning than ever before.

A key takeaway for any independent creator? Never let your entire online presence depend on a single point of failure or one master email address. Compartmentalize your infrastructure so a single breach can never compromise your entire body of work.

San Francisco still has a way of hiding places in plain sight.

This time it was Chesty’s Bar & Grill, tucked away on the 12th floor of the historic Marines’ Memorial Club & Hotel. It’s one of those old-school San Francisco places you could walk past a hundred times without realizing there’s a restaurant upstairs with beautiful city views.

A quiet table, something good to eat, Einstein beside me and the city outside the window. Not a bad way to start a new month. ❤️

Here’s to good energy, unexpected discoveries and a beautiful September ahead 🧿

MEET THE TOP INDEPENDENT SAN FRANCISCO BLOGGERS TO FOLLOW IN 2027 ✨

While the creator economy moved toward Instagram, TikTok, Substack newsletters, and other third-party platforms, a small group of Bay Area bloggers kept building something different. Years of original work on domains they actually own.

I went looking for them. Some applied through my social media call, while I personally reached out to others whose work I discovered.

For this feature, I looked at domain ownership, original long-form publishing, established archives, active publishing, and a meaningful San Francisco or Bay Area connection.

The final list is intentionally small.

What started as a local blogger roundup raised a much bigger question for me. What happens when someone spends ten or twenty years building an attributable body of knowledge on digital property they control? As search becomes increasingly generative, those archives may matter in entirely new ways.

To my younger self, you can stop bracing for what might go wrong. You don’t have to carry the weight of figuring everything out anymore. I’m here now, and I’ve got us.

Look at how far we’ve come. We built the safety, freedom, and beautiful life we once could only dream about.

Breathe out, little one. The struggle is no longer our home. The abundance we once thought impossible is finally finding us. This time, it is safe to receive it.

Being number 1 for Instagram Star Born in Taiwan and number 2 for January 22 Instagram Star sounds terribly glamorous until you realize your overall rank is sitting at 5,535 and you’re still standing on a San Francisco sidewalk waiting for einstein.the.yorkie to finish his business so you can bag it.

I WAS A MODEL LONG BEFORE I WAS A CONTENT CREATOR. ❤️️ Long before Instagram, SincerelySusye, or the creator economy existed, fashion was already part of my life. I started modeling as a teenager and continued through college, walking runways and appearing in print and commercial work. At the time, I had no idea that decades later I would return to fashion through an entirely different world.

Today, that early experience shapes how I approach fashion as a San Francisco creator. I understand what it’s like to be the talent in front of the camera, but now I also create, direct, write, and publish the story behind the image.

As an editorial creator, I get to experience fashion and then document its people, places, designers, and stories through my own lens.

It’s funny how the things we loved when we were young sometimes find their way back to us.

I was a model before I had an audience. The work came first. ❤️️

POV: WHEN LUXURY LOOKS THE PART 🐶✨ but does the experience match?

WHEN THE WELCOME IS FIVE-STAR, BUT THE MEAL ISN’T. I hadn’t planned on eating at The St. Regis San Francisco.

I was walking einstein | teacup yorkie around Yerba Buena when we passed The St. Regis San Francisco, and the bell staff could not have been sweeter. Their warmth continued inside, with a gracious welcome exactly as you’d expect from a luxury hotel.

So I decided to stay for a late afternoon bite.

Unfortunately, that was where the experience changed.

Around 4 PM, a manager seated us in a quiet interior dining area where I ordered from the bar menu. Nearly 30 minutes passed before anyone returned to take my order.

I started with the charcuterie and cheese board, followed by the salmon. The salmon was overly buttered for my taste, while the mashed potatoes had an unusual, almost rubbery texture that reminded me of a quick potato mix rather than freshly prepared potatoes.

After my food arrived, no one returned to check on us or refill my water.

The contrast was striking. The hotel welcome The St. Regis San Francisco felt like luxury hospitality. The restaurant experience didn’t.

Every restaurant can have an off afternoon, and one visit doesn’t define an entire property. But luxury hospitality is ultimately about consistency, whether it’s 4 PM or 7 PM.
