✨May Highlights ✨
Youth Donut Fundraiser // You showed up for our students. Together, we raised just over $25,000 toward our $40,000 goal! Every dollar going toward camp costs and a scholarship fund for students who need it. 48 students are heading to camp this year, and we’re not done yet.

CG Leader Blessing // As the CG season came to a close, we got to bless and pray over our Community Group Leaders & Mentors who faithfully served this whole year. Rest well on sabbatical and retreat — you’ve earned it.

Baptisms // 12 people went under and came up new. We got to hear testimonies, cheer loud, and celebrate what God is doing in the lives of our brothers and sisters. There is nothing quite like it.

Choir // There’s nothing like the JOY of getting to worship with our choir!

Flowers for Pentecost Sunday ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

5PM Afters: BBQ // Our 5PM family knows how to do it. Afters is our monthly space to slow down, stay a little longer, and actually get to know each other and this BBQ did not disappoint.

Eat-ups // We relaunched Eat-ups and got to share a meal with 44 folks this Sunday! More are coming this summer!

Child Dedications // Seven little ones were dedicated this Sunday, surrounded by family and this church. What a gift! 🥹

If May is any foretaste of what this summer holds, we are in for something really special. So grateful for this family!

On Sunday, we began our new teaching series, Faith as Reality. Dave Lomas taught from Romans 1:1-7 on the implications of Jesus’ resurrection and what it means for our understanding of the gospel and person of Jesus.

April Round-up! This month was full of so much goodness, and we had to share some of our favorites:

✨Easter at the Opera House – It was beautiful to celebrate Christ’s resurrection all together as one church!

✨Our Youth Ministry being very cute during the benediction on Sunday Morning.

✨Our team is growing in exciting ways! We’re so grateful for the opportunity to pray over our new resident, Heather Casimere, as she helps shape our Benevolence Ministry, and for Naomi Lau as she steps into her expanded role as Families Pastor.

✨Community Groups are wrapping up the season with Table Fellowship! It’s been a meaningful time of gathering, engaging rich content, and growing together—both spiritually and relationally.

✨ Impact Lab – This six-week lab came to a close just a few weeks ago. It was a space to grow spiritually while experimenting with real ways to serve our city, aligned with our unique gifting, calling, and capacity.

✨ And Night Church popping off! We love all the opportunities we get to worship together on a Sunday!

Good Friday cannot be called “good” without the promise of resurrection. Death is not the end, but for now we live in the tension of the not yet. We look forward to celebrating with you on resurrection Sunday at the Opera House.

“After he has suffered,
he will see the light of life and be satisfied;
by his knowledge my righteous servant will justify many,
and he will bear their iniquities.
Therefore I will give him a portion among the great,
and he will divide the spoils with the strong,
because he poured out his life unto death,
and was numbered with the transgressors.
For he bore the sin of many,
and made intercession for the transgressors.”
