Gospel Reflection | Mark 12:35-37

In today’s Gospel, Jesus reveals that He is more than a descendant of David. He is Lord. The crowd listened with delight as Jesus challenged them to see Him more deeply.

St. Boniface dedicated his life to helping others recognize Jesus as Lord. His courage, faith, and willingness to proclaim the Gospel remind us that true discipleship means more than believing, it means boldly living and sharing our faith.

May we, like St. Boniface, have the courage to proclaim Christ in both word and action.

St. Boniface, pray for us. βœοΈπŸ™πŸ»

Daily Gospel Reflection | Mark 12:28-34

Jesus reminds us that the heart of our faith is simple: Love God and love others.

More than rules, rituals, or sacrifices, God desires a heart fully devoted to Him and open to our neighbors. When we place God first and treat others with love, mercy, and kindness, we begin to live the Gospel each day.

Today, ask yourself: How can I love God more deeply and reflect His love to those around me?

πŸ™ Lord, help me love You with all my heart and love others as You love me.

Gospel Reflection | Mark 12:18-27

The Sadducees tried to trap Jesus with a complicated question, but Jesus redirected them to a greater truth: God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.

How often do we limit God by our own understanding? We can become so focused on earthly concerns that we forget the power of God and the promise of eternal life.

Today, Jesus invites us to trust in Him, even when we don’t have all the answers. Our faith is not rooted in what we can explain, but in the God who conquers death and calls us to life.

πŸ™ Lord, help me to trust in Your promises and live each day with the hope of the Resurrection.

On June 11, as part of the celebration of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, the U.S. bishops will consecrate the United States of America to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

A week from today, the local Church is encouraged to join the bishops in celebrating the consecration by praying a novena from June 3-11.
