Then he brought them out and asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, along with everyone in your household.”
Acts 16:30–31.

Times of Shaking

In Acts 16, Paul and Silas had been arrested for sharing their faith in the city of Philippi, then beaten with rods and put in prison with chains around their feet. It was unfair, disappointing, and looked like a setback to their ministry. But at midnight, as they were singing and praising God, a great earthquake shook the prison, their chains fell off, and they were given the opportunity to lead the jailer and his household to salvation.

We may not like times of difficulty and shaking, but as with Paul, they are going to shift you to fulfill your destiny. They are not going to stop you. There’s going to be a shift in your finances, in your career, in your health, in your marriage.

Out of the shaking, new doors are going to open, new opportunities, and new relationships.

Chains of depression, chains of lack and struggle, chains of addiction that have held you back are about to be unfastened.

Don’t complain about the shaking. It’s serving a purpose. God is using it to thrust you where you couldn’t go without it.

Prayer For Today

“Father, thank You that You, the all-powerful Creator of the universe, are with me, just as You were with Paul and Silas. In the difficult times, when I don’t know how a situation is going to turn out, help me to offer You a sacrifice of praise. I believe You will work out Your plan for me.

🔥 CALLED OUT OF DARKNESS

1 Peter 2:9

“But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.”
— 1 Peter 2:9 ESV

Before Christ, darkness wasn’t just around us. It was where we lived. But Jesus didn’t leave us there. He called us out.

Peter reminds us that when we belong to Christ, we have a new identity. We are chosen. Set apart. His.

And being chosen isn’t just about receiving a new identity. It comes with a purpose:

“…that you may proclaim the excellencies of him…”

God didn’t bring us out of darkness just so we could enjoy the light ourselves. He brought us out so that we could point others toward it.

That means our testimony matters.

The places God rescued you from can become the places where you reach back for someone else. The mistakes you’ve made don’t disqualify you from being used by God. The darkness in your past doesn’t get the final word over your future.

You don’t have to pretend you were never in the darkness.

Tell people Who brought you out of it.

That’s ministry.

Whether we’re inside the walls of a church, riding down the highway, serving someone on the streets, praying with a stranger, or simply living differently in front of the people around us, we have been given the same mission:

Proclaim Jesus.

We were called out of darkness so that we could carry His light into dark places. 🔥

Prayer

Father, thank You for calling us out of darkness and into Your marvelous light. Help us remember who we are in Christ and live like people who belong to You. Give us boldness to share what You have done in our lives and courage to carry Your light wherever You send us. Use our testimonies to point others toward Jesus. In His name, amen. 🔥

“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty….He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge.” Psalm 91:1, 4.

The Shadow of the Almighty

Sometimes it feels like we’re surrounded by trouble, surrounded by evil, surrounded by sickness. A lot may be happening on the outside, things that could have you upset, worried, or afraid, but you can’t let that get inside.

What you may not realize is there’s something else surrounding you, a secret place where you can rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Your job is to stay in that secret place, to stay close to God, to keep Him first place in your life.

The secret place is a place of peace, a place of trust. In that secret place, there’s a calmness, a rest. You know the Most High God is watching after you. You know you’re covered under His wings, that He has you hidden in a safe place.

When you’re in that secret place, for calamity to get to you, it has to first go through Him. When the enemy comes after you, he has to first deal with the Lord Almighty.

As long as you’re in the secret place, you have no reason to worry about what might happen.

Prayer For Today

“Father, thank You that there is a secret place in my heart where You dwell and where I can abide in peace. Help me guard against all the negative things that try to get in. I’m going to stay close to You, covered with Your feathers, under Your wings, and abiding in peace.

🔥 Who’s Sharpening You?

Proverbs 27:17

“As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” — Proverbs 27:17 NIV

Iron doesn’t sharpen iron without contact. There’s friction. There’s pressure. There’s resistance. But through that process, something that has become dull becomes sharp again.

God never intended for us to walk this life alone.

We need brothers and sisters who will pray with us, encourage us, challenge us, correct us when necessary, and remind us who we are in Christ when we begin to lose sight of it.

And sometimes, sharpening isn’t comfortable.

A true brother or sister in Christ won’t always tell you what you want to hear. They’ll love you enough to tell you what you need to hear. They’ll push you closer to Jesus, not simply make you comfortable where you are.

But this verse also gives us a responsibility.

Who are you sharpening?

Are the people around you stronger in their faith because you’re in their lives? Do your words encourage them? Do your actions point them toward Christ? When a brother falls, do you judge him or help him back to his feet?

Brotherhood is more than riding together, wearing the same colors, or gathering in the same place. Biblical brotherhood makes us better followers of Jesus.

Surround yourself with people who sharpen you.

Be someone who sharpens others.

And above all, make sure the direction you’re sharpening one another toward is Christ. 🔥

Prayer

Father, thank You for the brothers and sisters You have placed in my life. Give me humility to receive correction, wisdom to encourage others, and courage to speak truth in love. Help us sharpen one another and grow stronger together as we pursue You. May our brotherhood always point people back to Jesus. In His name, amen.

THE PART OF THE RIDE NOBODY TALKS ABOUT…

Everybody sees the bikes.
They see the freedom, the open road, the brotherhood, the pictures and the miles. But nobody really talks about how hard that road can be. They don’t talk about the near misses. The potholes, loose gravel and debris. The rain, wind, heat and storms that make you question whether you should keep going. The deer and animals that come out of nowhere. The driver who never saw you… or the one looking at a phone who drifted just a little too close.
Sometimes that road will eat you up and spit you out. And when you’ve been riding for hours, it isn’t only physical. It’s mental and emotional too. You’re constantly watching, thinking, calculating and praying.
Did I see everything? Did they see me? Do I have enough room? What’s that car about to do? What’s around this curve?
You learn a lot about yourself on the road. You learn a lot about the people riding beside you too. And some days, the goal isn’t the destination, the scenery or the miles. The goal is simply to make it home.
So to everyone sharing the road with motorcycles: PLEASE WATCH FOR RIDERS. Look twice before changing lanes. Check your blind spots. Put the phone down. Give motorcycles room. That biker beside you is somebody’s husband, wife, father, mother, son, daughter, brother, sister or friend—and they want to make it home too.
And to every rider: never let experience make you careless. Stay alert. Respect the road. Watch out for one another. And never be ashamed to pray before you roll out. Because after one of those long, difficult days—when you finally pull in, shut the bike off, put your feet on the ground and realize GOD carried you through every mile—sometimes there really aren’t many words left.

🔥 Known by God

“For the LORD watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked leads to destruction.” – Psalm 1:6 NIV

There is something incredibly comforting about knowing that God sees the road you’re walking.

Psalm 1 describes two completely different paths: one rooted in God and one apart from Him. And it ends with this reminder: the Lord watches over the way of the righteous.

That doesn’t mean the righteous path will always be the easiest one.

Sometimes obedience is lonely. Sometimes doing what honors God costs you relationships, opportunities, comfort, or approval. There may even be seasons when you’re following God faithfully and wondering, “Lord, do You even see this?”

He does.

God sees every quiet act of obedience. He sees every temptation you walked away from. He sees when you chose forgiveness instead of bitterness, integrity instead of compromise, prayer instead of panic, and His will instead of your own.

You are not walking an unnoticed road.

And there’s also a warning in this verse. Every road leads somewhere. The choices we repeatedly make become the direction we’re traveling. A path separated from God may look easier for a season, but its destination is destruction.

So don’t choose your path based on what looks easiest today. Choose it based on where it leads.

Keep walking with God.

Even when the road gets difficult.

Even when others choose another direction.

Even when you can’t see what’s around the next turn.

The One who knows the way also knows you. And He is watching over your path. 🔥

Prayer

Lord, thank You for seeing me and watching over the path I walk. Give me wisdom to recognize the roads that lead me away from You and courage to choose Your way, even when it is difficult. Help me live with integrity, trust Your direction, and remain rooted in You. Order my steps and keep my heart close to You. In Jesus’ name, amen.
