What if our greatest weakness isn't our circumstances, but our pride? This Sunday, we explored a truth that challenges everything: we are dust, yet deeply loved by the God who breathed life into us.
Jesus, the Creator of all things, emptied Himself and came as a servant - not for recognition, but because He loved us first. That's the heart of true humility. It's not thinking less of yourself, but thinking of yourself less. When we decrease so Christ can increase, we find the peace, rest, and joy we've been desperately seeking.
Are you exhausted from trying to do it all in your own strength? The reward for humility is riches, honor, and life (Proverbs 22:4). Turn it over to God. Let Him carry what you were never meant to carry alone. Salvation is a free gift - confess Jesus as Lord, repent, and believe. As our good friend Mr. Jerry used to say, "don't let the Lord pass you by, my friend."
