Congregation Or Atid Our home at 10625 Patterson Avenue is conveniently located just west of Pump Road and about two miles east of Route 288 in Henrico County’s West End.

Congregation Or Atid nurtures Jewish identity, values, and spirituality, while creating a warm welcoming and supportive atmosphere that encourages the observance of Jewish traditions. Services are held on Friday nights at 6pm with a pre-neg at 5:45pm, and Saturday mornings at 10:00 AM. The first Friday of each month is our Young Family Shabbat Experience, including a kid friendly dinner from 6-7pm

. Please RSVP on our website. Our diverse Congregation enjoys spending time together praying, learning, relaxing, socializing, and contributing to the greater community. In addition to Friday night, Saturday morning Shabbat, and holiday services, we offer a variety of activities that are educational, fun, spiritual, and informal such as:

*Shabbarbeques - Our popular summer Friday night dinner and casual service held out on our patio.
*Spiritual Nosh - Saturday night get-togethers with food, drink, and exploration of Jewish spirituality.
*Shabbat Under the Stars - Beautiful outdoor services conducted in a relaxed, inspirational format.
* Holiday Celebrations - Chanukah carnival, Purim fun and games, Passover Seder, Sukkot Pizza in the Hut, and many other fun activities and events.

Do you miss your USY or BBYO days and between 20 and 40 years old? Well YALA may be the answer you are looking for!

YALA is coming to the DMV!!! And it’s inaugural event is at Congregation Or Atid here in Richmond!!

But wait, you may be asking…What is YALA???
YALA stands for Young Adult Leaders and Alumni and are creating focused gatherings for those 20 to 40 and sponsored through the USCJ (United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism, but all movements are invited)!

Our first event will be hosted in COA’s sukkah!!

Theme: 90’s- 2000’s
Cost: $10/person
When: Sept 27, 2026
Time: 1-4pm
***feel free to wear your convention shirts or 90’s/2000’s attire***

Activities will include ole’ school karaoke (machine and mics), mini sukkah building, Photo Booth, yard games, Convention Superlative game, “Can You Name It?” 90/2000 edition, BYOBG (bring your own board games), fire pit and s’mores

Light refreshments will be available. (Kosher guidelines will be observed.)
