Paul and Silas were imprisoned for preaching the gospel. While praising and praying at midnight, something supernatural occurred. Their praise shifted them and their situation. Here's the key: It would have been easy to feel forgotten and forsaken, but they decided to host a praise party from a hard place. There was no evidence that deliverance was nigh, but you wouldn't know that by their praise!

Quick Question: When was the last time you praised God BEFORE the breakthrough? What happens when your praise is prophetic ? For every prayer that has yet to manifest, I challenge you to praise Him in advance - as if it's already happened and watch Him work!

Gratitude is arguably one of the most underrated weapons against drifting into spiritual stagnation. Being truly grateful opens your heart to hear, receive and do what honors God. Do this only on the days that end in "y" and watch your life change. 😊🙏🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

I was feeling adventurous this morning so after our Tuesday devotion and prayer, I asked Chat to give me an image of peace in the midst of a storm based on Phil 4:7. Take a close look at the image - there's a force field providing protection from the storm.

That's the power of peace! It's much more than serenity or the absence of conflict. Peace is a stabilizing force that's anchored in an abiding trust in God. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us that after we've prayed, the peace of God comes to put a fence around our heart and mind. We don't understand exactly how this happens (because it passes all understanding), but that peace places us in protective custody in the midst of stressful situations while we wait on the answer to what we prayed - knowing that we already have the victory!
