🏆 Congratulations to our 2026 Bishop’s Golf Classic winners! ⛳️

Our Championship Flight Low Gross winners were Chad Meissner, Eric Schweitzer, Beau Peterson and Sam Hermanson. What a round!

And we have to give a shout-out to Fr. Max Vetch, who represented the Western South Dakota Catholic Foundation in our Driving Faith Forward Challenge and also helped lead his team to Low Gross in the Men’s 2nd Flight! 👏⛳️

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the 13th Annual Bishop’s Golf Classic and helped make it such a great day!

RECAP: The Driving Faith Forward Challenge brought a little friendly competition to the Bishop’s Golf Classic as three priests went head-to-head at Hole 18 to raise support for their respective ministries.

Representing the Western South Dakota Catholic Foundation, Father Max Vetch hit a great drive and finished in third place. We are proud of his effort and grateful for everyone who supported him!

Father Adam Hofer took first place, winning 50% of the challenge proceeds for Catholic Social Services Rapid City, while Father Robert Kinyon finished second. The remaining 50% was divided equally between the Rapid City Catholic School System and the Western South Dakota Catholic Foundation.

Thank you to everyone who participated, donated, and helped make the first Driving Faith Forward Challenge a success! We will post the other winners soon!

Your Gifts at Work | Serving Those in Need

Sometimes serving our neighbors looks like a warm meal, a safe place to sleep, help with rent or utilities, or simply a cup of coffee and a donut shared in community. ☕🍩

St. Vincent de Paul volunteers throughout Western South Dakota put their faith into action by caring for neighbors who are experiencing difficult times. These simple acts of generosity create opportunities to build community while providing meaningful support to those in need.

Through the generosity of our donors, the Western South Dakota Catholic Foundation is helping support ministries like the St. Vincent de Paul of Rapid City, and Spearfish/Belle Fourche conferences, the St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store Spearfish SD the St. Francis Fund, Cornerstone Rescue Mission, and Church Response.

Together, these ministries provide food, emergency assistance, shelter, clothing, and other essential services to people facing difficult circumstances.

This is what your generosity makes possible. Together, we are living the Gospel by caring for our neighbors and bringing Christ’s love to those who need it most.
