🌱 Could God be nudging you to serve?

This past Sunday, Natalie shared about the joy of serving in Westminster’s Children’s Ministry — and the important role each of us can play in helping the next generation know and follow Jesus.

You don’t have to be a Bible expert. You simply need a willingness to grow in your own faith and share it with our kids.

There are lots of ways to help — teaching a Bible story, assisting a teacher, serving snacks, playing games, doing art, or simply spending time getting to know our kids.

If you’ve felt even a little nudge to get involved, we’d love to talk and pray with you about where you might fit.

Each week, our prayer requests give us the opportunity to come alongside one another — celebrating joys, carrying burdens, and faithfully bringing the needs of our church family before God.

And we want you to be part of it.

🎒 A special Sunday at Westminster!

This week in Acts, we arrive at a major turning point as the Gospel begins spreading beyond Jerusalem. We’ll look at the church in Antioch and ask what this early community can teach us about the church God calls us to be.

We’ll also celebrate our Blessing of the Backpacks! Students, bring your backpacks as we pray over the school year ahead. We’ll also bless and send our children and youth leaders, teachers, and helpers into the new ministry year.

🍺🍦 Root Beer Floats at West Middle School!

One of our favorite back-to-school traditions is almost here!

On Tuesday, August 25, we’ll be serving root beer floats to the students and staff at West Middle School — a simple and fun way to show the love of Jesus to our neighbors across the street. ❤️

🙌 Volunteers are needed! We’ll gather at 2:00 PM to set up and begin serving at 3:00 PM. Cash or check donations are also appreciated to help make the event possible.

Come scoop, serve, and help us start their school year with a little extra sweetness!
