Don't listen to the lies of fear. The Bible describes you as more than a conqueror through Jesus.

Ever notice how loud your own thoughts can get when everything finally gets quiet?

The guilt.
The regret.
The “you should be better by now.”
The “who do you think you are?”
The inner critic that knows exactly which moments to bring up.

This Sunday at Destiny, we’re continuing THE REAL THING with a Father’s Day message called “Silencing Your Inner Critic.”

And it could not land on a better weekend, because we’re leaning into one of the most beautiful truths in Scripture: we do not come to God as condemned servants begging not to be rejected. We come as beloved sons and daughters invited home by a Father whose mercy is greater than our shame.

1 John says, “If our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart.”

That means your inner critic does not get the final word.
Shame does not get the final word.
Your past does not get the final word.
Jesus does.

And after service, we’re celebrating Father’s Day with DOGS FOR DADS — hot dogs for dads and the whole family. 🌭

So bring Dad. Bring the family. Bring a friend. Bring the questions. Bring the mess. Bring the part of you that has been trying to hide.

The Father is not afraid of the truth.
There is love on the other side of it.

The beauty of changing seasons is that they remind us Who truly stays the same.

Shame thrives in isolation, but freedom grows in the light of God’s truth and grace.

Shame convinces us we are disqualified, unworthy, or beyond repair. Grace tells a different story. Grace sees us as a weapon against the enemy.
