Kingdom Family International Church

Kingdom Family International Church Kingdom Family International Church (KFIC) is an inter-denominational, multicultural fellowship of believers in Jesus Christ. (www.kingdomfamily.church)

Kingdom Family International Church, located in Wake Forest, NC, believes that families are ordained by God and have been since the foundation of the world. The conceptual design of a family has always been essential to God so much so that He sent our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ to save all mankind through the module of an earthly family. Our Pastors are committed to refocusing on the family by

teaching biblical principles that will strengthen the dynamics and structure of this relationship. We also emphasize concepts based on the Word of God that contribute to the success of growing a family God's way.

What a blessed Sunday it was! Thank you to everyone who came out and made our old-fashioned cook-out such a joy. From the beautiful weather to the delicious food to the fun we had line dancing together, it was a perfect afternoon of fellowship.

Thank you to everyone who helped plan, cook, serve, and clean up. Your hard work and generosity made this event possible, and it did not go unnoticed.

We are grateful for this family and the love that fills every gathering. Let's keep the momentum going as we continue to grow together in fellowship and faith.

Day 5: A Heart Kept Clean (vv. 21–31)

"For I have kept the ways of the Lord, and have not wickedly departed from my God... With the merciful You will show Yourself merciful... As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him."

Prayer: Search me, Lord, and keep my hands clean and my heart honest before You. I don't want to walk in cleverness or self-reliance, but in simple faithfulness to Your ways. Thank You that Your word has been tested and proven true across every generation. Be my shield today as I try to walk uprightly. Amen.

Day 4: Drawn Out and Delivered (vv. 17–20)

"He sent from above, He took me, He drew me out of many waters. He delivered me from my strong enemy... He also brought me out into a broad place; He delivered me because He delighted in me."

Prayer: Lord, it humbles me to think that You delight in me — not because I've earned it, but because You choose to. Thank You for reaching into my narrow, overwhelming places and setting my feet somewhere spacious and free. When I feel trapped today, remind me that Your hand is still reaching down. Amen.

Day 3: The God Who Comes Down (vv. 8–16)

"The earth shook and trembled... He bowed the heavens also, and came down with darkness under His feet... The Lord thundered from heaven, and the Most High uttered His voice."

Prayer: God of thunder and flame, of shaken earth and parted heavens — You are not distant or indifferent. You move on behalf of those who cry out to You. Help me hold this truth: the same power that shakes mountains bends low to rescue me. I stand in awe of Your majesty, and I trust it is turned toward my good. Amen.

Day 2: Crying Out From the Depths (vv. 5–7)

"When the waves of death surrounded me, the floods of ungodliness made me afraid... In my distress I called upon the Lord, and cried out to my God; He heard my voice from His temple, and my cry entered His ears."

Prayer: Father, there are days when fear feels like water closing over my head. Thank You that David's darkest moment became a testimony of Your nearness. When I cannot see a way out, thank you for reminding me that my cry still reaches Your ears — that You are never too far to hear me. Give me courage to call out honestly, even from the depths. Amen.

David's Song of Deliverance — A 7-Day Devotional

Join me for the next seven days as we pray through II Samuel Chapter 22: Praise for God's Deliverance.

Start your day encouraged — let's pray the Word of God together.

Day 1: The Lord My Rock (vv. 2–4)
"The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; The God of my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, My stronghold and my refuge; My Savior, You save me from violence. I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised; So shall I be saved from my enemies."

Prayer: Lord, You are my rock when the ground beneath me shifts, my fortress when I feel exposed. Teach me to run to You first, before I run anywhere else. Let today's troubles remind me not of my weakness, but of Your strength that never fails. I call on You now, trusting that You are worthy of every ounce of my praise. Amen.

🙏 Sermon Recap

Our Youth Speaker, Joshua Hendricks
We will not quit
We will keep waiting on God and trusting His promises
Our delays are not denials
God sees your acts of service
He sees everything and does not forget the work we do
He sees and will reward us in the open
We trust Him even when we can't see Him working

Thankful for Youth Pastor Don Bri's testimony on:
Repentance, humility, and obedience
Not letting our flesh cause us to miss our expansion
There's no expansion without responsibility
