Check out our hymns for this evenings Prayer healing and Testimony meeting.
Hymn 97 (“He that goeth forth with weeping”) is a hymn of patient spiritual sowing. It reminds us that faithful work, even when it begins with tears or struggle, is not wasted. When thought stays steady in Truth, the “precious seed” bears fruit through divine influence—not human force.
Hymn 71 (“Glorious things of thee are spoken”) lifts thought to the security of God’s city—founded on the Rock, surrounded by salvation, and not shaken by fear or opposition. It is a strong hymn for spiritual confidence: what God establishes cannot be overturned by circumstance.
Hymn 75 (“God comes, with succor speedy”) is a hymn of divine help arriving right where it is needed. It speaks to God strengthening the weak, helping the poor and needy, and breaking oppression. The message is direct and healing: no one is outside the reach of God’s justice, mercy, and restoring power.
