Missionaries in the Making! ❤️ Our children NRIBC) had the privilege of attending a children’s missions conference and learning about missions and the work of missionaries through the WMU conference at Sanford.

We are grateful for those who are faithfully carrying the message of God’s love, hope, and salvation to people from every nation. What a joy to see our children learning that the Great Commission is not only for someone else—it is a calling for every follower of Christ.

And we believe there is hope for the nations represented here in America: that children and families from many nations can encounter Christ here and, in God’s time, carry the Gospel back to their home countries and beyond. 🌎✝️

Today we celebrate not only the missionaries who are serving now, but also the missionaries in the making among our children. nations. tomorrow’s church today.

There are many things you need to guard in life, but there is one place you cannot afford to leave unguarded and that is your heart. Because the heart is the center of our inner life and the source from which our lives flow, faithful stewardship requires us to guard what enters, what remains, and what comes out of our hearts.

When our hearts remind us of our failures, weaknesses, mistakes, and past sins in a condemning voice, we must learn to manage our hearts according to the truth of God’s Word. This requires us to distinguish between the conviction that leads us to repentance and condemnation that leaves us in hopelessness and despair.
Scripture reminds us in 1 John 3:19–20 that when our hearts condemn us, God is greater than our hearts, and He knows everything. Our assurance is not ultimately grounded in how our hearts feel about us, but in what God has declared and accomplished for us in. Today we were reminded that we must shepherd and guard our hearts. We should not ignore the conviction of sin, but neither should we allow condemnation to become the voice that defines our identity instead we answer our hearts with the truth of Scripture.

God’s faithfulness will not stop with one generation. Those who have experienced and witnessed God’s work are responsible for telling the generation coming after them, so that they too will know that the Lord is righteous and that He has acted. What God has done in our generation must become the testimony of the next generation.

“A seed shall serve Him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation. They shall come, and shall declare His righteousness unto a people that shall be born, that He hath done this.” — Psalm 22:30–31
